Working great

My son loves it, still working perfectly after 3 months. The led light did stop workng but it was really just a "bling" kind of thing anyways not really a big deal. The real world battery life is under 20 miles probably under 18 miles even but it does last a good distance and he is perfectly happy with it

Really fun but harsh brakes

I ride this on medium setting because that’s what I’m comfortable with right now. On medium setting, the top speed on a flat surface is around 15 mph. Even at this speed, the brakes are really harsh/sudden. I’m on the second lowest brake setting and it still brakes extremely suddenly that I’ve fallen off a couple times. I’ve found that you have to pump the brakes instead of just having it continuously braking just so your body can catch up to that sudden slow down.

Going down to the lowest brake setting doesn’t brake fast enough for what I like. The second lowest brake setting brakes at a reasonable time/distance but it’s really sudden. It’s like if you’re in a car, every time you want to brake, you’re stomping on the brakes. From the moment you pull down on the trigger to brake, there’s a half a second delay, and then you’re being thrown forward (and off the board if you’re unprepared). This doesn’t make sense because there’s four brake settings. I’m only on the second lowest one. I can’t imagine people who are able to use the highest one

Real all the way UPDATE AT BOTTOM awesome, only problem is no wrist band & inaccurate max distance.

First off I've researched a lot before buying an electric skateboard and the main reason I brought this one was actually the prime delivery most skateboard websites are charging upwards of $100 for shipping plus you have to wait north of 2 weeks, while this one only took one week. However this is my first impression and I'll update if necessary, (UPDATE AT BOTTOM)
So I just got the product today, charged it for about 3 hours and went for a ride. First problem is they say you should charge it for 6 hours before first use, but like on the very last page of the manual along with warranty info. I assumed I was done reading at that point, so if that could be moved to the first page where it says before riding that would be very helpful. As for the beginner level it's really good and shouldn't cause any bad falls. It climbed a relatively steep hill without skipping a beat on beginner level as you can see in the video. I'm an experienced rider so I quickly shifted between the speed modes to discover how fast this thing can really go. And I'm in love this thing was flying at 26 mph and hitting small dents and everything and no wobbles, even though I usually ride my boards really tight and use the tail to turn, in this one however I left it relatively loose and had no speed wobbles worth mentioning (if you release acceleration they tend to stop on their own) The Grip tape is incredible that it literally helps me regain balance on turns. I rode around for 6 miles straight and the skateboard functioned amazingly the entire time. Second problem I encountered though was the fact that it's missing a wrist strap. I did buy the same thing that the other reviewer mentioned (ziggy band) and I believe that will solve the problem. However for the price I believe the extra $14 to buy an external wrist strap is well worth it, especially since during my 6 mile ride today the remote felt very secure and fits perfectly in my grip, but I can also see that I simply can't risk dropping it going 26 mph. I believe another reviewer said Elon Musk would be proud and I concur.

Over all extremely satsfied and looking forward to riding it all around my city. However please don't go past intermediate if you don't have experience skateboarding at high speeds, you will for a fact fall and at over 15mph you will most likely get injured.

Also make sure to lean forward while accelerating and back while breaking that's the best way to not fall.

UPDATE: Today I took for a longer ride and was a bit disappointed. First off I'm a 6ft guy and I weight about 175lb, so I'm not extra heavy or tall. I rode it 6.5 miles in one direction which was mostly flat according to google, no notable hills, and I was disappointed to find when I got there I had exhausted half of the skateboard battery. I charged it overnight before the ride. On the way back it wasn't even half way through before the skateboard gave me the beep signifying that if I keep riding it according to the manual it will cause battery over-discharge, but I was 3 miles from my house so I rode through anyway. The speed started to significantly decrease untill it wasn't going faster than 12mph. It did finish the entire ride which was a total of 13, the remote claims I rode around for 15 miles. However both of those numbers are significantly less than the distance promised. However I still give it 4 stars, because this trip with alot of the other boards of similar prices would never have taken me all the way home, but I'd recommend the manufacturer decrease the distance to 13-15 miles or something close to that range. And if the reason it didn't last long was because I didn't initially charge it for 6 hours straight I blame the manufacturer for an unclear manual. However still pretty happy.

11/10 Would buy again

So much better than expected. Endless fun and no signs of degradation after a few months. Definitely would recommend to anyone who has thought about it.

Perfect for small towns / cities

I use this for joyrides, with friends, around town. I love the lights on the back because those allow you to safely travel at night, unfortunately my lights didn't last very long but you can get any bright lights and mount them and they work just as well. This was a great purchase, I use it almost daily. It's absolutely perfect for traveling in big or small cities and towns, great handling, long distance and decent speed. If you live in a small town or big city I highly recommend you take a look at this. It will add simplicity to your life
