I purchased this scooter for my son's birthday. So far, my son is loving his new Electric scooter. He rides it on bike lane and other hard surfaces and loves it.
This scooter exceeded my expectations. I'm very happy.
Very smooth ride. I sleep in Philadelphia (not only the town of solidarity but the town of crappy roads) and this handles alright even after I hit all the bumps within the road. Its also easy to fold up and carry around. I ride to figure, fold it up and carry it up a flight of stairs with ease. Battery lasts about what it claims (see cons for more) which is pretty decent for local travel.
The battery indicator is pretty inaccurate. Battery goes about 10 miles. I have a 1.5 mile commute to figure so 3 miles daily. once you get to 3/5 bars or under (after about 5-6 miles) on the battery meter, the scooter starts to prevent. Usually rides around 12mph on flat ground (+/- 1 mph for slight incline/decline) but when the battery is at 3 or under, it always start running at like 7 or 8 mph. So you wish to charge it more frequently.
Overall a decent scooter for the worth. It looked as if it would be the most effective scooter I could find in my price range with the smallest amount amount of issues and bs reviews (people who just say it sucks with no real logic). Ignore those people, buy this scooter.
This is my second scooter. and that i intentionally got a scooter that’s light since I lug it up and down the subway stairs and apt buildings. A+++ for lightness. I can pick it up with one hand and take it down the steps. The kick stand is awesome. I never knew kickstands can make such a difference. I can hang my bag and everything thereon sort of a rack and it’s solid. The body feels solid, good design aesthetics. It’s a gentle cruiser at 13 mph, not that fast. It doesn’t quickly accelerate like my old scooter but not slow either, a smooth acceleration.
The cons: it’s not as powerful as a daily scooter. then again again it’s intended for tiny adults/young adults. Uphill you prevent quite bit. after you hit a bump the speed drops instantly and is startling from time to time. That and no suspension means you ought to avoid uneven surfaces the maximum amount as possible. It’s a decent general rule but my old scooter could handle bumps sort of a pro.
It’s the proper one on behalf of me but that because the foremost important spec on behalf of me is that it’s 21 pounds. most are around 30+ pound. It’s plenty LIGHTER.
Grandson loves it. No complaints. This thing is awesome! Very sturdy. Holds a charge for a long while.
My son enjoys a lot. Very safe. It does not go really fast. Ideal for 6 year old child.
